One-Wall Kitchen Design Ideas
When it comes to contemporary kitchen design, defining a kitchen area in an open loft or great-room can be tricky. In this large living area, the homeowner chose to unify her one-wall kitchen by painting it a soft green and treating the upper kitchen cabinets like a single built-in unit with glass doors. A natural-color wood plate rack and open storage break up the long green wall. (via: kitchenbathideas.com)

One-Wall Kitchen Design Ideas
1. Plan Your Layout
Just as you would with any kitchen, but particularly those with long runs of units, you need to carefully map out where your appliances will sit. Ideally, you need to keep your ‘work triangle’ close – in other words, the sink, oven/hob and fridge within easy reach of each other. You can then consign storage cupboards to the ends of the run.
2. Treat It Like A Display
A down one wall kitchen necessarily looks onto an empty space with room beyond. It’s likely that this space will be devoted to dining or sitting, or both. So, it makes sense for your kitchen to look good – and by that we mean not entirely like a kitchen. Here, open shelves provide plenty of practical, to hand storage, but are also carefully colour co-ordinated and extremely neat. The result? A kitchen that’s good to look at.

Hello,
Thank you for a lovely blog!
Could you, however, please be so kind and change your text regarding the blogpost ‘Fabulous White Kitchen From Sweden’. The kichen was NOT designed by Mikael Beckman. It is designed by Susanna Bremberg (architect) who was the owner of XYZ Architects.
Example of wording could be: The fabulous kitchen was designed by Susanna Bremberg from Sweden and via XYZ Architects. Photo by realestatefirm Skeppsholmen.
Or if it is difficlt for you to go in and change an existing blogpost I would appriciate if you deleted it all.
I would aswell appriciate that you get back to me as soon as you have made the corrections.
I trust that you understand the importance of this since we are both in the business.
Thanking you in anticipation.
Best Regards
Tove Lindberg
I’ve changed that. Sorry! ~
