The new Essential Wind is an ultra-modern kitchen from Toncelli packed with exciting, eye-catching elements. Characterised by an elegant linearity, the kitchen has two distinct ‘areas of operation’.

The cooking area is divided between the multi-functional stove and frying areas at the wall unit, and the sink/food prep area on the central island.

A lowered dining table in stone continues the central island, giving guests an ideal place to sit and chat.
The Essential Wind kitchen cabinets are available in a range of finishes, from laminated colours, to wood veneers, to metallic and stainless steel.

‘Flip’, the distinctive rectangular ventilation hood is perfectly positioned over the stove. The stove area is of smooth stainless steel, whereas the worktops are covered with a coordinating natural stone grey quartzite.

An atmospheric LED illumination casts a glow over the proceedings from behind a marble pattern panel.
Italian kitchen company, Toncelli, will customise the Essential Wind kitchen to suit you best.

Throughout time, Tuscan kitchens have been the place for loved ones to gather. Food is the other favorite pastime of Italians so to most effectively capture that true Tuscan feel in you kitchen, fill it with the pieces needed to create great meals (even if you don’t cook). Start with the colors. A true Tuscan kitchen reflects the colors of nature. Painting the walls a warm shade of orange-yellow or gold gives your kitchen the perfect backdrop. Italian tile in shades of terra cotta, cinnamon or other natural stone works great on the floor.
Tuscan Kitchen Decorating Ideas
A Splash Of Colors
Tuscan kitchen colors combine natural elements with warm colors.Warm colors are appetizing so they work well in kitchens. Base the room around natural wood cabinets or granite countertops because Tuscan kitchens are meant to be cooked in. Stick with dark colors on the cupboards or a medium wood tone. Give a farmhouse look with wood beams and add elegance with small columns and carvings on the island.
In Tuscan kitchen decor, the use of diverse colors ensures that there is always an exciting element in it. There is a bold use of orange and yellow colors, with gold and terracotta on the walls which give it an elegant touch. Always select a hushed or battered looking tone of your chosen color. Tuscan kitchen has a twang of colors in bright reds, sunshine yellows, sea blues, shining blues, bright greens, and browns mixed with burgundy.

Rubberwood might not be the most familiar type wood known for kitchen cabinet construction but it is becoming more and more popular. It is resistant to mold and bacteria, making it a perfect choice for use when building kitchen cabinets.

Plantation Hardwood
Rubberwood is sometimes referred to as plantation hardwood. It has a straight grain and accepts many types of finishes well. These characteristics make it ideal for use in kitchen cabinets. The color range is a soft palette of creamy colors. Check out rubberwood for your new kitchen cabinets.

If the name rubber wood doesn’t sound familiar, the wood is also known as plantation hardwood and para wood. If you buy a piece of furniture described only as “solid hardwood,” chances are it’s made of rubber wood. The product of latex rubber plantations, the wood until recently was burned as junk wood. Furniture manufacturers discovered that this hardwood is easy to work with and inexpensive to acquire. The rest, as they say, is history.
Rubberwoodd naturally varies in color from creamy white to medium brown. Unstained, naturally finished rubber wood furniture is popular in other countries, but much of the rubber wood furniture in the US is stained or painted. Armstrong’s rubber wood cabinets come in stains ranging from soft white to nearly black, but not a natural finish. read more: buildingproductsguide.com

The primary thing, of course, that kept this budget renovation down to such a low budget was that Ashley Ann and her husband did the work themselves, including cutting and installing the countertops. Butcher block is definitely easier to cut and install yourself, though, than marble or granite!

The first thing we saw in this kitchen renovation was the yardstick backsplash. We thought this was so clever and charming! Read on to see how Ashley came up with this and how she and her husband implemented it.

If you have a low budget and are about to start a kitchen renovation, then you should consider saving money on the most expensive items in a kitchen renovation, which are kitchen cabinets and countertops. You can find cheap kitchen cabinets to match the color and theme of your new kitchen. Just because the cabinets will be cheap does not mean that you will be sacrificing quality. There are different kinds of kitchen cabinets and countertops that you should consider in your renovation.
If you have a very low budget, you should incorporate stock cabinets as a part of your kitchen renovation. Stock cabinets are available in all standard sizes. However, not all styles and designs are available with stock cabinets. You can find these cabinets at most home improvement stores and do not have to wait to carry them home. You will find that these cabinets are of the same quality as other cabinets, but they are more affordable. (more…)

When looking to decorate your kitchen in a nautical theme, one of the best ways to go with counters is dark wood cabinets and marble tops. The dark cabinets give a representation of the deck of a ship. However, if you are not interested in having your cabinets made of a dark color, white is also an option for both the counter top and the cabinet. Add decals of ships, lighthouses, ships or seashells to the cabinets to add charm and tie the room together.

Farmhouse Kitchen Countertops
Choosing granite countertops, marble countertops and natural stone countertops are good options when it comes to farmhouse kitchen ideas. Such countertops look good in traditional farmhouse kitchens and also in modern farmhouse kitchens. For a rustic look for your kitchen, choose the stone countertops as they will look great with your kitchen designs. With many patterns to choose from, I am sure you will be dazzled with the options. You will need to choose the type of kitchen countertop with care as the rest of the furniture in the kitchen will have to match it.

The color blue has a unique inheritance when being used in the kitchen. I have made a post and get some examples of Blue Kitchen Cabinets, but this one, in fact a bule kitchen, blue jeans! Bold cabinets and a beefy range hood in the color of distressed blue jeans give this rustic, but refined, kitchen a real wow factor. Twin, unfitted spice cabinets – lined up with the corbels — are a great idea on each side of the range. The tone of the granite countertops is keyed to a Jerusalem limestone floor in a perfect blend. Note two paneled dishwashers flanking the main sink, 3 ovens, and a chandelier that dresses up the room dramatically. via: hookedonhouses
